Credit Cards
When you pay your Credit Card by Direct Debit, you can choose to pay either the minimum balance or the full balance for each statement.
Minimum balance:
The minimum payment is what you must pay by the due date shown on your statement each month.
If your statement balance is €25 or less, the total amount of the balance will be shown.
Full Balance:
The full balance is the total balance shown on your statement for the billing period.
How do I set up or amend Direct Debit?
The quickest way to set up or amend your Direct Debit is by using our online form provided by our third-party partner, DocuSign.

Joint accounts: If you are setting up the Direct Debit from a joint account and both signatures are required, you must download the printable mandate, print it, have both parties sign the mandate, and return it to us by post.
Credit Card printable Direct Debit mandate
Please note the following: If you have multiple accounts with us, you must fill in a Direct Debit mandate for each account. Direct Debits cannot be set up from a savings account.
It can take a few days for your new direct debit to be active and ready to take payments from your bank account. When your Direct Debit has been activated you will receive a confirmation via email or post. When you set up a new Direct Debit, your first Direct Debit payment will be shown on your next statement.
What if my payment due date doesn’t suit me?
Your Direct Debit payment will show up on your Credit Card account on your payment due date, or if the payment is due on a Sunday or Bank holiday it will show up on the previous business day and will be deducted from your bank account on either the same, or next business day. To find out when your next payment will be deducted from your bank, please refer to your latest online credit card statement.

What if I will miss a payment?
If your account falls into arrears, you will be subject to the following default charges:
Late fee:There will be a fee of €15.24 each time your minimum payment has not reached your account in cleared funds by payment due date. Your minimum payment must be cleared in your account before this date to remain in compliance with your Avant Money agreement. Accounts with payments received after the due date shown on your statement are subject to late fees.
Over limit fee: A fee of €12.70 will be charged if your account has exceeded its credit limit at any time during that statement period. This is a once-off fee during a statement period.

Please note the following: If you have multiple accounts with us, you must fill in a Direct Debit mandate for each account. Direct Debits cannot be set up from a savings account.

If the issue date on the Direct Debit set up confirmation is less than 10 days before your payment due date, you may need to make a manual payment via debit card or bank transfer.

Your Direct Debit payment will be debited from your bank account on the payment due date as specified in your Personal Loan agreement. If the payment is due on a Sunday or Bank holiday it will be deducted from your bank account on either the same, or next business day.

What if I will miss a payment ?
If your account falls into arrears, you will be subject to a €10 fee. The fee will apply each time your monthly repayment has not reached your loan account by the payment date. We will add this default charge directly to your account.
How do I set up or amend Direct Debit?
If you need to set up a new direct debit or amend an existing Direct Debit on your mortgage account download this mandate and post it to Avant Money, PO Box 13192, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
Please note the following: If you have multiple accounts with us, you must fill in a Direct Debit mandate for each account. Direct Debits cannot be set up from a savings account.
What if my payment due date doesn’t suit me?
Your Direct Debit payment will be debited from your bank account on the payment due date as specified in your Mortgage agreement. If the payment is due on a Sunday or Bank holiday it will be deducted from your bank account on either the same, or next business day.

What if I will miss a payment ?
If your account falls into arrears, a €12 fee will apply each time your monthly repayment has not reached your Mortgage account by the payment date. We will add this default charge directly to your account.
