About CRIF Realtime Ireland (CRIF)

CRIF is an ‘Account Information Service Provider’ or AISP. An authorised AISP can ask for permission to access bank account data and use information to provide a service. In this case the service would be to verify your income details and recent transactional data.

CRIF is authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and licenced to operate in the Republic of Ireland.

Since the introduction of PSD2 regulations, you now have the option to securely share your online payment account information with authorised providers you trust. Avant Money has partnered with CRIF to better utilise open banking services, improving your application experience and making your life a little easier.

Once we have your consent, you will receive an email from CRIF. Follow the prompts to completion and CRIF will then be able to share your Bank Statement data with us.

Part of the process will require you to log in to your Banks online banking services. Please be reassured that this is a secure service and neither Avant Money nor CRIF can see your login details or conduct any activity in your banks account.

You can withdraw your consent to us sharing your personal information with CRIF by emailing [email protected]. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. We also suggest you read the CRIF privacy policy which is accessible from the email you will receive from them.
