Cross Border Currency Conversion within the EEA
Card issuers providing currency conversion services within the EEA must display information on their currency conversion charges as a percentage mark-up above the European Central Bank euro foreign exchange reference rate.
When your card is used in a non-euro currency within the EEA, you will sometimes receive a notification by way of SMS which will inform you of the total mark-up applied to that transaction. You can opt out of receiving these notifications by contacting us on 0818 409 511.

The percentage displayed below represents the total currency conversion charges as a percentage mark-up over the latest available euro foreign exchange reference rate issued by the European Central Bank (ECB). This information is indicative only and is updated regularly. The final transaction amount charged to your account will be based on the rates which apply at the date the transaction was processed which may be different from rates on the day when the transaction took place.
